Questions before we start.
Ownership, pricing, management and integrations—without burying the useful answers inside the main service page.
The details that affect the quote.
Still unsure? Send the project through and the relevant questions can be handled by email.
Ask about a projectMost focused business websites take approximately four to six weeks once the required content and initial payment have been received. Websites involving bookings, payments, content management or other integrations generally take longer. The written quote includes an estimated schedule.
Usually your business information, services, pricing, contact details, branding, available photographs and access to relevant client-owned accounts. You receive a straightforward checklist before work begins. Photography, video and additional content can be quoted if required.
A 50% deposit reserves the project, with the remaining balance due before the finished website goes live. Larger booking, payment or content-management projects may use staged progress invoices instead. The payment schedule is included in the written quote.
After the project has been paid in full, the client owns their domain, content, data, client accounts and the client-specific website deliverables identified in the proposal. Yeah, Nice. Industries retains its reusable frameworks, templates and underlying tools while granting the client the continuing right to use them as part of the completed website.
Yes. Every website is responsive and optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile as standard.
The technology is chosen to suit the project. Where appropriate, Cloudflare is used for secure, reliable delivery with low infrastructure overhead. You do not need to manage the technical setup, and any third-party services or ongoing costs are explained before launch.
Every build includes sensible technical and on-page foundations: titles, descriptions, heading structure, sitemap, indexing setup, performance and basic structured data. Ongoing search campaigns and reporting are separate services.
Replacing existing copy, a price, opening hours, contact details or an image within the current layout.
New pages, services, staff profiles, layouts, integrations, forms, substantial redesigns or new functionality are major changes and are quoted or billed separately.
Additional work is billed at $100NZD per hour in 15-minute units. Anything expected to take more than an hour is quoted before work begins.
No. The monthly allowance keeps genuinely small updates simple; it is not a bank of development hours.
No. Monthly management is flexible and currently has no minimum term. Annual management is optional, paid upfront and priced lower than twelve monthly payments.
Your website is not removed simply because management ends. Your domain, business content, data and client-owned accounts remain yours, and the completed website can stay in those accounts or be handed to another provider. Ongoing updates, monitoring, backups and support end with the management plan. Handover or migration work is billed at the standard hourly rate.
Stripe is preferred because it integrates cleanly into custom websites. The client owns the Stripe account and receives funds directly. As checked on 27 August 2026, Stripe lists 2.65% + $0.30NZD for domestic cards and 3.5% + $0.30NZD for international cards, with another 2% if currency conversion is required. Stripe sets these rates and may change them; see current Stripe pricing.
At typical small-business volumes, confirmations and opted-in event updates can be sent from the client’s Google Workspace address using the Gmail API. If subscriber numbers or delivery requirements grow, a dedicated email provider may be recommended and any cost would be confirmed first.
No. Domains, payment processing, Google Workspace and any dedicated email-delivery service remain client-owned and are paid separately. No third-party cost is added without being explained first.
